Insertion can be tricky to master, but the main trick is to find a fold that works best for you.
Here are three of our favorites:
For beginners, we recommend the punchdown fold:
This fold creates a point to make insertion a little easier.
Next up is the 7 fold: When folded this way, the rim will look like the number seven—and also has a pointed tip to help with insertion.
You may also opt to use the C fold (sometimes called the U fold):
There are thousands of other folds out there, by all means, play around with the best fold for you and your body.
